Notification for PRITACET - 2007

1. Entrance Test :
   • A Common Entrance Test, Designated as Post Graduate Residential IT Academy Common Entrance Test - 2007 (PRITACET - 2007) of Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad - 72 for entry into the Post graduate Diploma In Information Technology(PGDIT) of the 21st century gurukulam for the academic year 2007-2008 in the State
     of Andhra Pradesh.
     
2. Eligibility:
   • The minimum qualification to appear for PRITACET-2007 is:                                                 (a) A pass in any graduate degree (qualifying
     examination) examination conducted by the universities of A.P.                                                (b) Candidate must have studied X class in a high
     school located in any of the rural mandals(as mentioned in instruction booklet) of AP.
   • The candidates should not have exceeded 24
     years of age(26 years in case of SC/ST students) as on 31st December, 2007.
   • In case of such students who appear for the entrance test, pending result of their qualifying examination, their entry shall be subject to their securing a pass in the said qualifying examination.
   • Candidates should belong to the State of Andhra Pradesh as defined in the A.P. Educational Institutions (regulations for admission) order 1974 and its amendments (vide G.O.P.No. 646 dt: 10-7-79 of Education (W) Department).
     
3. Detailed information regarding eligibility, age, nature
   of entrance test and about Post Graduate Residential
   IT Academy Programmes(PGDIT & MSIT) etc., is given
   in the "Instruction Booklet", supplied along with the
   application form.
   
4. Requisition for the Application form :
   
   4.1 Application form together with the enclosures including the "Instruction Booklet" can be had in person (not by post) on payment of Rs. 250/- (this amount covers the cost of application along with enclosures, fees for entrance test, and towards Service charges for Post offices) in cash AT ALL THE HEAD POST OFFICES of the Following places within the state of Andhra Pradesh:
   
   Hyderabad GPO, Khairatabad, Secunderabad, Vikarabad,
   Stn Kachiguda, Kukatpalli, Hanamakonda , Warangal,
   Nizamabad, Adilabad, Mancherial , Karimnagar,
   Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahabubnagar, Sangareddy,
   Nalgonda, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Bhimavaram,
   Tanuku, Eluru, Kakinada, Rajahmundry, Vishakhapatnam,
   Machilipatnam, Buckinghampet , Vijayawada, Arundelpet
   (Guntur), Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Chittoor, Tirupathi,
   Cuddapah, Kurnool, Nandyal, Anantpur.
